“My wife and I pre-booked a canal boat trip with E Boats Amsterdam departing at 18:00 on the 29th of June. We were at the arranged pickup point approximately 20 minutes before departure, but to our big disappointment they didn’t show up. The money for the trip (42€) was deducted but no information about a cancellation or delay was provided from the arranger. After waiting an additional 10-15 minutes or so, we decided to go with another boat company, Friendship, who were awesome and whom I would warmly recommend. I’ve emailed E Boats requesting a full and prompt refund, but I don’t hold out much hope.”

“We've taken part in basic wine and food pairing tastings before and this really refined the experience for us. We were with 4 other couples who we had met for the first time at the tasting. We learned about the history of Gouda cheese making in the Amsterdam area and about the founders of Old Amsterdam Cheese. We had a selection of 5 Gouda cheeses; 2 goat cheeses and 3 cow cheeses, a French white wine, a red blend, and a Portuguese ruby Port. The cheese expert (like a wine sommelier) walked us through the food pairings to show us when white or red wines go best with each type…”
